Steve specializes in helping management teams of tech companies prepare for exit through a combination of strategic mindfulness and hands-on leadership. During his tenure at Crosslake, he's helped more than 60 businesses shape their tech story to prepare their teams for investment and has supported private equity investors with technical due diligence on more than 200 M&A transactions. Drawing on his technical, operational and entrepreneurial background, as well as his extensive experience with transformations and mergers, Steve has led teams spanning development, support and governance. As head of governance and control for Santander Global Corporate Banking, Steve was accountable for the successful delivery of all technology audit and control requirements and spearheaded high-profile projects and transformation initiatives. His deep industry experience in global finance and banking is further underscored by business analyst and functional architect roles at a global provider of capital markets software, at a Dutch multinational financial services company, and at one of Australia’s largest financial institutions.
